Problems
focused thinking versus solution focusing thinking
When
NASA began the launch of astronauts into space, they found out
that the pens wouldn't work at zero gravity (The ink won't flow
down to the writing surface).
In order to solve this problem, they hired a major international
organisation to study this and come up with a solution. It took
them one decade and 12 million dollars.
They developed a pen that worked at zero gravity, upside down,
under water, in practically any surface including crystal and
in a temperature range from below freezing to over 300 degrees
Celsius.
The Russians used a pencil.
This
highly practical and fun programme takes problem solving by the
scruff of the neck and really shakes it! We develop a practical
set of problem solving skills that are tested throughout the course
so they become habits and are second nature back in the work place.
