Workplace stress is perhaps the most serious problem facing UK employers. And, in this age of 'if there is blame, there's a claim', we believe that every employer in the UK should be critically concerned about reducing those levels.

1. Stress affects one in five of the working population.
2. It is now the single biggest cause of sickness absence in the UK.
3. It costs UK industry £3.7 billion each year.

You may think that stress is an inevitable factor in working life.
Research shows that some stress is good. Stress ‘revs up’ the body thanks to chemicals like adrenalin and cortisol, which are naturally occurring under stress.
However if stress is allowed to go unchecked, performance will decline, and the constant bombardment by stress related chemicals will affect a person's health.

During this stress management programme delegates will become aware of the causes and behaviours of stress, and develop the skills to effectively manage it.
They will become aware of the legal aspects of stress in the workplace and adopting a proactive self managed approach to stress with the use of practical stress busting techniques.
